It pertains to my business

I’m an avid reader of Shop-Eat-Surf because it’s really the only online newsletter that I have found that is not only industry related, but also because it’s not so “guy-centric.” I find that a lot of the information I read on the site pertains to my business (as a swimwear designer) and keeps me up to date on what other companies and other women in the industry in general are doing which is not only inspiring but also helps me gauge the future direction of my business as well.

I feel privileged to read the Executive Edition because I know I am getting insider industry information before it hits the mainstream media channels. And it’s always good to know what my friends are up to in the industry.

The one, undisputed leader
The one, undisputed leader

It is common knowledge in our industry that there is one undisputed leader in reporting on the topics, businesses and trends that impact all of us the most, and it is shop-eat-surf.com. Their access to those who make our industry happen is second to none, and we value not only the content of their reporting but the editorial thought on what it all means both in the present as well as the future. If we were asked to give a rating, it would be five out of five stars.

San Diego, California January 24th 2011: ONE Industries, Corp announced today that Jim Morley has been added to its management team as Executive Chairman.

Morley’s appointment comes after working closely with the companies CEO Neil Calvesbert to identify the strategies required to achieve the company’s long-term strategic objectives. Morley brings to the company over 30 years of operational success and between 2001-2009 was the CEO of Igloo Products, Inc the well-known cooler brand based out of Katy, Texas.

Calvesbert commented “We have enjoyed 4 years of explosive growth, growing from a small operation in San Diego to multiple global facilities. Through the last 3 years we have beaten the trend that the challenging market conditions have forced on other brands and continued to deliver strong growth. I have a great vision for this brand and along with our investors Jim and I are committed to building a world-class organization.

"What we have achieved in the last 4 years is testament to the great team of people I have the pleasure of working with at ONE and adding Jim brings a level of experience that we need to achieve our strategic objectives. For me personally, his expertise and experience will allow me to focus on the global growth of the brand, continued product innovation, line extensions and new categories along with brand positioning on a global scale which are critical to our future growth and success. There are no shortage of opportunities and new areas for us to grow – only hours in each day so Jim will be an invaluable asset to our management team and myself as he continues to develop the financial, operational and global resources to support our growth”.

Speaking about his new role, Morley said “I am very excited to be part of the ONE team and can assure everyone there are great plans for the future”.

Calvesbert continued, “Rapid growth presents challenges – but even with adding the challenges of managing consolidations and opening new foreign operations on top of the market conditions we have continued to grow and invest in our future, our product lines are stronger than ever before. We have a group of committed investors and along with the investment in Jim they have invested the additional working capital we require to achieve our growth objectives”.
