Quiksilver Indonesia celebrates new store opening

BANDUNG, 28 May 2010. PT Quiksilver Indonesia is proud to announce the official opening and launch party of our new Paris Van Java (PVJ) Mall on Friday, 28 May 2010.

The gig kicked off at 3.00pm with an amazing demonstration of several of Indonesia top skateboard riders and BMX bikers inside the mini ramp that was specially built to support the event in the heart of the PVJ atrium. As the sun went down the excitement had begun.

Paul Hutson, CEO of Quiksilver SEA started the evenings entertainment with the official ribbon cutting ceremony this was immediately followed up with the fashion show of the latest Summer 2010 collection of Quiksilver, Roxy and DC. It was standing room only in front of the shop as the crowd was swaying to the music and enjoying the show. Free flow drinks and snacks were keeping everybody happy while Dede Suryana West Java only surfing hero signed 100’s of posters for his young and adult fans.

Finally, the B-boys battle dancers closed out the show with some amazing moves.

Paul Hutson stated,“Bandung is well known as the Paris of Java worldwide. Many of Indonesia’s top designers, models and actors come from this beautiful city, Quiksilver is excited about the new Quiksilver, Roxy and DC product offering catering for this store and it’s trend setting market. We have specially selected products from our global ranges and in particular styles from our European, USA and Australian ranges. Categories include apparel and accessories, ranging from jeans, T shirts, Walkshorts and Hooded Sweatshirts for Bandung’s cooler climate, as well as a full range of accessories such as hand bags, travel bags and back packs. With direct flights now arriving from Bali and Kuala Lumpur this store is sure to take off with the new tourists’ arrivals...”

Quiksilver looks forward to opening several new stores in other major cities of Indonesia with their Indonesian retail partners PT Gagan Indonesia as part of its SE Asian expansion plans. Look out for a new Quiksilver store in town near you soon!
