The Easter shift tempered same store sales at Zumiez in April, though the action sports retailer still reported positive comps.
Same store sales rose 2.1%. Last year, same store sales declined 13.8% during the same period.
The busy pre-Easter shopping week shifted into March this year, which made March sales extra strong and weakened April sales.
Same store sales for March and April combined rose 8.3% vs. a 16.1 fall during March and April last year.

2. up 12.1%
3. up 6.8%
4. up 7%
Comps at stores in the West rose 3%, were flat in the Midwest, fell 3% in the South and dropped 5% in the Northeast.
