It is common knowledge in our industry that there is one undisputed leader in reporting on the topics, businesses and trends that impact all of us the most, and it is shop-eat-surf.com. Their access to those who make our industry happen is second to none, and we value not only the content of their reporting but the editorial thought on what it all means both in the present as well as the future. Here are some photos from Hurley's Phantom event at Surfside Sports last Saturday.

The crowd at the Flywire eventTo get the word out about its Flywire $200 boardshorts, the event allowed anyone who brought an old pair of boardshorts to get the Flywire for half off.

Regular P-60 Phantoms could also be customized in the Hurley trailer.

And one lucky person who attended won a free trip to Indonesia.

According to Surfside co-owner Duke Edukas, a big crowd turned out, and the event went beyond his expectations.

Hurley held a similar event at ZJ Boarding House in Santa Monica and more are planned.
