I am a big fan of Tiffany and her team as well as an avid reader of Shop-Eat-Surf. I shop, I eat, I surf -- I should pay.
- By Kevin Bailey, President, Vans
I’m an avid reader of Shop-Eat-Surf because it’s really the only online newsletter that I have found that is not only industry related, but also because it’s not so “guy-centric.” I find that a lot of the information I read on the site pertains to my business (as a swimwear designer) and keeps me up to date on what other companies and other women in the industry in general are doing which is not only inspiring but also helps me gauge the future direction of my business as well.
I feel privileged to read the Executive Edition because I know I am getting insider industry information before it hits the mainstream media channels. And it’s always good to know what my friends are up to in the industry.

Jacksonville Beach, FL----April 5, 2010---- The East Coast’s ONLY “consumer expo for surfers,” the 2010 Boards & Waves Expo, is coming to the Space Coast on April 17 & 18, 2010.
The 2010 Boards & Waves Expo will feature over 70 exhibits of local & regional surfboard shapers, fin & foam manufacturers, surf accessories, surf- and beach-inspired artists, and a new Stand Up Paddle (SUP) section. World-renowned artist Drew Brophy will create some of his surfboard art, along with surfboard shaping demos, a homemade surfboard contest, educational seminars and more. There will be free product giveaways including a raffle to win a Ricky Carroll surfboard each day.
"With the diversity and complexity of boards, fins, and foam, today’s consumer needs more information before buying a new surfboard. The 2010 Boards & Waves Expo gives surfers the opportunity to talk face-to-face with surfboard shapers, fin designers, accessory manufacturers and others in a fun, informative environment!” said Dave Seehafer, avid surfer and action sports industry veteran. Last year’s Expo was held in Daytona Beach, attracting nearly 1500 attendees to over 60 exhibits. The move to the “East Coast Surfing Capital” allows the Expo to grow and reach a larger audience.
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Surfrider Foundation and Cocoa Beach High Surf Team.
