Agenda heads to NYC in July

By Tiffany Montgomery
April 26, 2010 5:58 AM

Agenda is heading east this summer in a bid to attract more buyers from the contemporary premium market.

The trade show, which is building of its last two successful West Coast shows, will showcase approximately 70 brands at its New York show, including LRG and The Hundreds.

Other brands will come from the action sports, sneaker and streetwear sectors.

The show on July 19 and 20 will coincide with Men's Market Week and shows such Project, Capsule, and ENK-NYC.

A few weeks later on Aug. 4-5, Agenda will return to Huntington Beach for its West Coast show.

Here's the official release:

Los Angeles, CA (April 26, 2010)

This summer, the producers of The Agenda Trade Show, are thrilled to present AGENDA: NYC. July 19th & 20th, 2010, at 190 Mercer St. in SOHO.

AGENDA: NYC will coincide with The NYC Men’s Market week as do The Project, Capsule, & ENK-NYC shows, all of which focus on the men’s premium/contemporary market. AGENDA: NYC will showcase the very best of ActionSports, Sneaker and Streetwear brands.

Having placed an unparalleled focus on only working with the industry’s best brands, Agenda has redefined the West Coast trade show market. Buyers no longer need to sift through hundreds of irrelevant brands to see the product that they need.

“No matter how well the West Coast shows performed, we saw that many of our exhibitors were still heading to NYC for the market week, even though they did not have a show that was catering to their needs... With this in mind we decided it was time to bring our model to New York”, said Agenda, LLC. President Aaron Levant.

Levant added, “The Show will be smaller and more intimate with about 70 brands. Expect to see staple Agenda brands like “LRG” and “The Hundreds” along side a few new faces”.

AGENDA:NYC JULY 19TH & 20TH 2010 • Agenda NYC will be centrally located near the corner of Mercer & Houston in Manhattan's SoHo district at 190 Mercer Street New York, NY 10012

About the Agenda Tradeshow:

The Agenda Trade Show is a forum for the most inspired in the street wear and action sports industries to unite. Lines speak for themselves and buyers are not intimidated by the usual overwhelming tradeshow experience. From the garage-run lines on the verge of explosion, to the well-established elite, Agenda caters to the needs of buyers and brands that exist on a higher level of design and aesthetic. With a strong emphasis in style, art, music and culture, the Agenda experience is as much a lesson as it is a tool.
