Orange21, the parent company of Spy Optic, is partnering with Jimmy Buffet to make sunglasses for his Margaritaville brand, the company announced this morning.
The sunglasses will fit with Margaritaville’s “tropical escape lifestyle” and be available in stores this summer.
The deal marks a continuation of Orange21’s multi-brand strategy. It recently obtained the license to make O’Neill Eyewear.
"Jimmy’s life work continues to touch so many people and has basically defined the notion of FUN for all the right reasons. That's the kind of friends we like to hang with!” Orange21 CEO Stone Douglass said in a statement.
